Hello, my name is Gregg Champion and I’m the Founder and Executive Director for Project Change Recidivism Inc. I started this Non-Profit Organization so that incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals like myself can have a second chance in life. My story is I graduated from Wilberforce University with a BA in Liberal Arts and a minor in Secondary Education. I’ve been incarcerated a few times for Drug Trafficking and was recently released from prison in September 2022. I found that even though I have a degree I'm a convicted felon and can’t pass a background check which makes it hard to succeed in society even with my degree. I wanted to utilize my education, work experience, and life experiences to start my Non-Profit Organization that would help and benefit individuals just like myself to build networking tools, life skills, and gain experiences that will help them be productive individuals in society. So, with the help from others Project Change Recidivism Inc plans to help reduce recidivism amongst all individuals.
